Tim Schlosser called the meeting to order at 9:00 p.m. CDT

I. Roll Call

Members present:
Joy Umenhofer, Elite Program Committee Chair
Patti Conner, Technical Committee Chair
Karl Heger, Athlete Rep
Tim Schlosser, Program Committee Chair
Jill Milroy, J.O. Program Committee Chair
Others present:
Paul Parilla, Vice Chair (voice, no vote)
Ann Sims, T & T Program Director (voice, no vote)
Judy Wills Cline, National Coaching Coordinator (voice, no vote)

II. Organization Chart

A. Sims presented the organization chart. The new structure allows representation from all regions and all disciplines. Discussion was held as to what each level would be responsible for.

Motion to accept the organizational chart as presented.

PASSED - 5-0

III. Elections

Discussion was held concerning the time frame for the nominating committee.

Motion that T. Schlosser will select a nominating committee of three members by September 15, 2000. The potential slate of officers should be submitted no later than October 1, 2000. Possible nominees must be contacted and the official slate, with bios and resumes, must be in the Program Office no later than October 15, 2000. Ballots will be mailed no later than November 1, 2000, and the deadline for voting will be November 20, 2000.

IV. Committees

Each committee must develop a list of responsibilities for their committee. This must be turned in to the Program Office no later than October 1, 2000.

V. Membership Directors

Discussion was held concerning the upcoming election of Membership Directors to the USAG Board of Directors.

Motion that the two Membership Directors on the USAG Board of Directors must be Professional Members in good standing. No other criteria required.

VI. Athlete Representatives

K. Heger reported that the athletes had voted on new athlete representatives for each committee. They are:
Jennifer Sans - Technical Committee
Dave Kennedy - J.O. Committee
Karl Heger - Elite Committee
