Regional Board meetings will be conducted at National Congress on Thursday evening, August 14. The State Chair Workshop will be held Wed. August 13 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.

In order to assist the apparel sponsor for J.O. Nationals, the Regional Boards were requested to assign a contact person who will be in charge of their region.

The WAB requested that the RJOPC send a list of their activities, timelines, and schedule of meetings to their Regional Chair. A form is being developed that all Regional officers must complete following any of the National Committee meetings.

III. Optional Warm-up Time

The committee discussed the new 1½ minute optional timed warm-up requirement. The following CLARIFICATION was made: For traditional format competitions (warm-up all four events, then compete with only one set of equipment), the 1½ minute time is required. If a "warm-up/compete" format is used in which there is no 30-second touch (warm-up on competitive apparatus immediately before competing) or a "Capitol Cup" format in which two gyms are used (with warm-ups in one gym, competition in the other), a 2 minute timed warm-up may be used.
