Member Club Membership
Loreé Galimore
USA Gymnastics Club Services ManagerThe Member Club program is off to a great start and in just a few months the program has had great response from club owners.
I have had a chance to attend Regional Congresses and talk to club owners. It is exciting to hear the interest club owners have in this opportunity to network with each other. The first issue of the Gymnastics Network News will debut in December.
Frequently Asked Questions
The following are the most frequently asked questions about Member Club Membership:
When I register my athletes, I get a club number. Does this mean I am automatically a Member Club?
No, you must fill out the Member Club Application (included in this issue of Technique). Your club number is used only to identify your club and does not imply you are a Member Club. (Please note the requirements on the Member Club application.)
I have always been a Member Club and had the Silver/Gold coverage. What has changed for this Membership Program?
The Club Membership is now separate from the insurance with K&K. Any club may apply to be a Member Club as long as they fulfill the requirements and pay the $100 annual fee.
I want to be a Member Club. How long will it take to receive all of the marketing materials?.
One to two weeks is needed to process your application.
Where can I get a Member Club application?
Call 1-800-345-4719 and ask for Loreé Galimore at ext. 233.
Loreé can fax or mail it to you that day.
Occasionally, the application form will appear in Technique.
What do we do with the PDP marketing materials we receive free with our membership?
You can host a PDP Level I Video Clinic in your facility for coaches to attend. The video instructor must be a professional member with PDP Level I accreditation and must also be currently safety certified.
I have been a Member Club for years with USA Gymnastics. Do you still have the Insurance with K&K?
No, but the K&K program still offers great coverage for gymnastics clubs. We are referring clubs interested in insurance coverage directly to our insurance agent, Pat O'Connor at 1-800-800-2489.
