Member Services / DMG Online Functions

The USA Gymnastics Member Services / DMG online database permits individual members and clubs to perform many useful functions. Below is a listing of what is currently available.

We suggest that you carefully read the Instructions provided for any particular function BEFORE entering the database. For some of the more complex functions, it is probably a good idea to PRINT OUT the instructions ahead of time so that you have them handy to refer to as needed!

Remember to click on LOGOUT after each online service has been completed.

COURSE CONTINUATION LINK
Permits you to begin course after registration, or continue taking the Online Safety Course after a time-out period. You will again be asked to log in with your Professional or Instructor Member number and a personal password.
Use the Internet to Register for a Face-to-Face Safety Course - You MUST login with the user ID and password of the person who will be attending the safety course.
- Your Individual USER ID (your current 6 digit USA Gymnastics membership number) and password (initially set to your birthdate in MMDDYYYY format).

2010 FACE-TO-FACE SAFETY COURSE REGISTRATION

Permits you to use the Internet to register for a Face-to-face safety course. You will be asked to log in with your Professional or Instructor Member number and a personal password. Remember, you must have a current membership to register for a safety course online.
Register for a Preschool Fundamentals: Part 2 HOT course - You must login with the user ID and password of the person who will be attending the KAT course.
- Your Individual USER ID (your current 6 digit USA Gymnastics membership number) and password (initially set to your birthdate in MMDDYYYY format).
- Valid credit card.
2010 HOT COURSE REGISTRATION

Permits you to register for a HOT course online. You will be asked to log in with your Professional or Instructor Member number and a personal password. Remember, you must have a current membership to register for a HOT course online.
Print Proof of Membership - Your Personal Username and Password
- Name and/or Member Number for the person that you wish to look-up.
PRINT PROOF OF MEMBERSHIP
This query provides Member number, Member Type, Membership expiration date, City/State, Discipline levels, Club Affiliation and Safety Certification expiration date for individual members. You can use this printout as proof of your membership if you don't have your member card.
Re-print PRO / JPRO / Introductory Coach Membership Card - 6 digit PRO / JPRO / Introductory Coach Membership Number and PRO / JPRO / Introductory Coach Membership passwordóValid email address in the system for the PRO / JPRO / Introductory Coach member
REPRINT MEMBERSHIP CARDS
Permits a PRO / JPRO / Introductory Coach member to have the system send a new Membership Card to the email address in the system for that member.

ADD OR RENEW CLUB ATHLETES
Athlete Registration is OPEN for the 2010/2011 season.

- Permits you to have your ATHLETE Membership Cards sent to you via email.
- Permits you to add/renew club athletes online.
- All athlete memberships applied for after June 5, 2010 will be valid through July 31, 2011.
TOPS athletes will need to apply for this athlete membership to participate in testing.
Add/Renew Introductory Members - A Valid CLUB email address is needed to have Introductory Membership card created and sent within 24 hours

-Completed Introductory Membership forms for any athlete that you register online

CLUB APPLICATIONS
This link is for individuals who have never been USAG members and have never taken any USAG certifications. If the individual has been a member or taken any certification course, they already have a record. Do not create a new record. Please contact 800-345-4719 for more information and to avoid the delays of duplicate records.

Apply for a sanction online - A Professional membership and current safety certification.
- A Professional membership including the discipline type that you are sanctioning.
- FOR WOMEN'S MEETS, YOU MUST BE MEET DIRECTOR CERTIFIED.

How to Change Your Address
or Club Affiliation Online

All you will need is your current USA Gymnastics membership number and your date of birth.
Your current membership number is your Individual USER ID, and your initial Individual PASSWORD is your date of birth in the following format MMDDYYYY. This link is for changing an individual's information only. Therefore, you will not be able to access this link with your club number and password.

How to Add and Renew Your Athletes Online

Some points you need to know before starting:

  1. We suggest that you print out the instructions provided at this link before proceeding with the athlete online registration process.

  2. Only clubs may renew or apply for athlete memberships online. Athletes or their parents may not register online without going through his/her club. There are no exceptions.

  3. You will need to have completed athlete forms for any athlete that you register online. In the event of an injury, our insurance company or USA Gymnastics may require you to produce an athlete form on request. It is of utmost importance that you keep the original athlete applications on file at your club, because this is tied into the secondary insurance coverage.
    If you choose to register athlete's online without forms on file, you are compromising the athlete's medical coverage as well as opening your self and your business to unwanted liability exposure.

  4. A Social Security Number is not required for new members applying online. Please note that ALL information received regarding our members, is kept strictly confidential and our online registration and member searches are secured sites.

  5. It is important to enter your club number as a six digit number, including a leading zero. If you are having trouble getting into the system, make certain you are putting the zero in front if applicable.

  6. You will need a credit card to apply or renew any membership online. We cannot guarantee successful processing if debit cards are used.

  7. YOU MUST KEEP THE ORIGINAL ATHLETE FORM ON FILE AT YOUR OFFICE.
    DO NOT SEND FORMS OR COPIES OF FORMS FOR THOSE ATHLETES YOU ARE REGISTERING ONLINE.

  8. If you are registering an athlete who has had a past membership with USA Gymnastics but has not competed for one or more seasons, you will need to call Member Services to change Active Status before you can register him/her.

Common questions regarding athlete online registration...

Q: I keep getting an error message when I attempt to enter my Club USER ID and Club PASSWORD. What could be wrong?
A: Be certain that you are entering the zero in front of your club number. Or, you may want to check your password. If you receive a connection error, you may need to update your browser. See How to Update Your Internet Browser

Q: My transaction appeared to go through and I received a conformation number. However, today I received an email that the transaction did not go through. The confirmation means my credit card was charged, right?
A: WRONG! All transactions are reviewed by USA Gymnastics staff individually before any charges are incurred on your credit card. If you receive an email that your transaction was not complete, no charges were placed on your credit card.

Q: I just checked the Member Search to see if my coaches and athletes were renewed from my transaction this morning and they are not updated. Why?
A: All transactions are reviewed by USA Gymnastics staff individually beofre posting. Posting is normally done on the next business day (Mon.-Fri.) around 1:00 p.m. Indianapolis time.


How to Update Your Club's Information Online

You will need your club number and your club's password to access this link.
Your Club USER ID is your six digit club number. (Please note that there must be a zero in front of your club number.)
Your Club PASSWORD is that assigned to you by USA Gymnastics.

What if you do not know your club's password?
As is the case with sensitive information such as a password, if you forget your password you must notify Member Services and your password will be mailed to you within three to four weeks.

Description: Professional members and clubs can use this link to obtain listings of athletes by club then by level for events they are conducting.
You can enter up to 15 club numbers at one time, with as many levels and disciplines as you would like.
The listing will include, sorted by club: the athletes by level listing their name, number and birthdate.

To access the link, professional members need their Individual USER ID and Individual PASSWORD (intitially set to their birthdate in MMDDYYYY format).
Clubs can use their Club USER ID and Club PASSWORD (the initial form of which was communicated to the club owner under separte cover).

How Can a Club Apply for an Individual's
Professional or Instructor Membership?

Using the ADD BRAND NEW PRO OR INSTRUCTOR MEMBER link, a club can add new members.

The club needs to logon using the Club Username and Password.

Please Note: This link is only for use for members who have never been a member of USA Gymnastics before. Also note that for brand new professional members, membership is not valid until the individual has taken and passed the safety certification course. If an application is submitted prior to taking the course, the individual will be placed in Pending Pro status, which will be changed to a Professional Membership upon passing the course.
