Hagerty is competing in his first Olympic Games. He claimed his first-career U.S. title at the 2008 Visa
Championships by winning the horizontal bar. He is the son of Mike and Kathy Hagerty and has three sisters,
Shelley, Dawn and Alena.
How did you get involved?: My three older sisters were in gymnastics, so I just followed suit.
Favorite thing about gymnastics: The thing I most love about gymnastics is how challenging it is.
