  • 8/2 - Final Results
  • 7/30 - Photo gallery from opening ceremonies and competition
  • 7/10 - Revised Tariff Sheet Change Form- Revised Tariff Sheet Change Form(s) must be submitted by 4:00pm on Friday, July 25 at the accreditation desk.
  • 7/15 - Competition Music! - Read the attached letter regarding competition music at this year's event.
  • 7/14 - Club Team & Pair/Group Picture Schedule - Clubs are to adhere to times listed on the picture schedule. Athletes and coaches are asked to wear club warm-ups.
  • 7/14 - Champion Pre-Registration - Attached you will find the form for your Athletes going to Nationals so that they may register for Photographs The completed form can be faxed to  (972) 767-5000 or emailed to  ChampionImages@aol.com .
  • 7/10 - Event Schedule Change - Review the event schedule for changes. A final rotation order will be provided at accreditation in the technical packet for each registered coach.
  • 7/10 - Training Schedule - The training schedule is posted. Every team will have time on the competition floor. Note - an additional 15 minutes in each training period beyond the routine time is allotted for warm-up on each floor.
  • 7/08 - Best Door Decorations - Do not forget to bring materials to decorate your door at the National Championships host hotel. The room with the best door decoration will receive a special award and will be announced during the Awards Gala!
  • 7/08 - Reminder - Training Sessions at the competition venue will be CLOSED to the public. ONLY credentialed participants and staff will gain admittance into the venue during training sessions.
  • 7/08 - Club Team Banners - Clubs are allowed to bring Team Banners and place over the railing in the competition venue. Team banners or signs may not exceed a size of 2' x 4'.
  • 6/24 - Ticket Price Change! - All-session tickets and daily tickets are $70/$25ea.
  • 6/24 - A note from the Des Moines Area Sports Commission regarding the floods:
    • "We, Des Moines, is fine. The levees that were rebuilt/built in the floods in 1993 withstood and we are fine. The bridges in the downtown area have been open since last Saturday and the Embassy Suites on the River has been open since Saturday night. The venues are on high ground and are find. The areas of concern are our neighbors to the east, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, southeast Iowa, etc that got hit with unimaginable devastation and are still flooded. We are fine, the venue's fine, the street poles for your event banners are fine and we are just waiting for your championships to arrive!!" Des Moines Area Sports Commission.

  • 10/2007 - Des Moines, IA to Host Acro National Championships

USA Gymnastics is hosting the 2008 Acrobatic Gymnastics National Championships Des Moines, IA at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium. The event will take place during the week of July 27-31, 2008.

Congratulations is extended to the athletes and their coaches working their way through the qualification process to Nationals. We welcome your participation at this event, as well as the attendance of your family and friends.
