Professional Development Program Objectives
- Provide general and sport-specific information critical for entry level gymnastics coaches and instructors.
- Offer program components that are cost efficient, flexible, and easy to implement and administer.
- Develop a recognition system to acknowledge participation and program achievements.
- Provide a general program for coaches and instructors of all gymnastics disciplines.
Requirements
NOTE: Once all the components are completed, please return the registration forms and completed tests with a $25 processing fee to USA Gymnastics.Level I Accreditation
The following descriptions represent the requirements for Level I accreditation. Coaches and administrators are reminded that these components represent minimum standards and should not be viewed as definitive recognition of any one coach's competence, experience, effectiveness, or limitations. These components may be completed in any order.Level I Video Starter Kit
This Kit includes the Rookie Coaches Gymnastics Guide, Sequential Gymnastics II, a Video and workbook. One test is included with the Rookkie book and one test is included with the Sequential book. You may make copies of the blank tests in order to have additional staff members complete and submit. Additional Video workbooks can be purchased.
