Description & Duties:
Assist in managing the event volunteer registration system as well as handling the check in process and training onsite.
Assist with the accreditation system at events as well as preparing credentials prior to the event.
Support the Event Services Manager in the areas of Awards and Apparel along with preparing all event supplies for each event.
Assist the Delegation Services Manager with the registration office; which includes processing various items prior to the event and supporting the office onsite.
Help with the master transportation plan for each event.
Assist in coordinating all aspects of in-venue hospitality.
Travel to and work at a number of our premier events as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Educational Requirements: Enrolled in a Bachelor degree program at the junior or senior level status or enrolled in a Master degree program.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook.
Passion for sport and the ideals of the Olympic Movement
Sport experience preferred (i.e., active in competitive/intramural sports).
Must be eligible to work in the USA.
Excellent communication and human relations skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced multidisciplinary team environment.
Duration of Internship: Position runs from May 2013 - August, 2013

The Okanagan Gymnastics Centre is located in beautiful Kelowna, BC, Canada. We are a non profit organization with a variety of programs including preschool, recreational, birthday parties, school field trips, competitive girls, boys and trampoline and tumbling programs.
We are looking for a creative individual to join our coaching team as Head Coach to our Competitive Trampoline Program. The successful candidate will be working with a well established and strong National and Provincial Team to prepare them for various competitions including Westerns and Nationals and International Events.
Permanent, Full time, willing to work weekends, days and evenings starting a.s.a.p.
Salary and Benefits:
Dependant on qualifications and experience
35 - 40 hours per week

Qualifications:
NCCP Level 3 or higher
High Performance, National and International level experience
Must have at least 7 - 10 years experience

Motions Unlimited is a gymnastics studio located in the Cayman Islands approximately 400 miles South of Florida. The Cayman Islands is a British Colony and has a sophisticated infrastructure and practically no crime. It is about an hour flying time from Miami International Airport. The Motions studio is approximately 11,000 square feet and is equipped with state of the art gymnastics equipment. It provides preschool, recreational and competitive programs for children from 15 months and up.
Motions Unlimited competitive team participates in various competitions in the United States such as the Crown of the Carolinas, the Presidential Classic and the Gasparilla Classic as well as some inter island and in house meets. We have an immediate opening for one male instructor.
Senior Position
The successful applicant will be required to teach recreational and competitive gymnastics for boys and girls team up to Level 8; preparing students for competition at various levels; traveling with students to various competitions in the USA and elsewhere; preparing class schedules, parties and such duties as may be assigned. The applicant must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position and have suitable references and qualifications including safety certification and knowledge of all USAG compulsory routines and rules. Must implement procedures to ensure safe and efficient training methods as well as have open interaction with parents. Must report to management on a regular basis and be able to oversee the entire recreational and competitive program as well as organize and manage other gymnastics instructors. Compensation package will be based on experience and will include health insurance, pension contribution and two weeks paid vacation per year. Applicants should be prepared to take up position within 30 days subject to immigration visa. Salary will be $40,000 US and vehicle will be provided.
Applicants must be single as the Immigration Department will not permit dependants for these positions. The positions are available immediately. The initial contract will be for a two year period and renewable thereafter subject to visa obtainability.
