WA National Academy Coach

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 (Dependent upon experience)

Scottish Gymnastics, the National Governing Body for Gymnastics in Scotland is looking to recruit a full time National Academy Coach for Women’s Artistic Gymnastics.

This is an exciting time for gymnastics in Scotland as we professionalise our coaching structures and continue to successfully implement our performance strategies ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games being hosted by the city of Glasgow. This position will have a strong focus on the performance development of gymnastics within the West region of Scotland.

Applicants should ideally be of HPC standard or hold a minimum of Senior Club Coach Women’s Artistic qualification and be able to demonstrate a proven track record within the sport at a national &/or regional level. Candidates should also be able to show experience of coaching children and young people, with an understanding of gymnastic progression pathways.

A Disclosure Scotland Check will be required for this post.

The position is for an initial 3 year fixed-term contract.

Scottish Gymnastics is the National Governing Body for Gymnastics in Scotland and we are seeking to recruit a full-time Women’s Artistic National Coach with a responsibility for the national youth squad. This is an exciting time for gymnastics in Scotland as we professionalise our coaching structures and continue to successfully implement our performance strategies ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games being hosted by the city of Glasgow.

About the Job:
• The WA National Coach (Youth) will be responsible for coaching the WA National Youth squad in-line with the SGA Performance Plan and in conjunction with the performance coaching team
• The WA National Coach (Youth) will be required to design, develop and deliver specific gymnastics plans for national youth squad gymnasts and will be expected to monitor and evaluate progress on a regular basis
• The WA National Coach (Youth) will be a national selector involved in the selection process of gymnasts for national squads and national/international competitions

Preschool Recreational Coach Needed in the Cayman Islands

We are looking for an amazingly fun preschool and recreational coach that can handle tots to beginner level. We can train intermediate level skills if necessary.

We do not want someone that is interested in coaching team, this position will not develop into a team coaching position.

Candidate must encourage proper technique and form even at a young/beginner level. We are officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee, and our youngsters must be taught up to date technique for advancement.

We want someone creative that truly loves the preschool and younger age group.

We are located in the British West Indies and are a British Territory. We have the highest standard of living in the Caribbean.

The position includes full medical benefits, pension and company car with insurance. We will assist in finding housing.
