Larson was a member of the gold-medal team at the 2007 Gymnix International, where she also took second in the all-around and third on the uneven bars. At the 2007 Junior Pan American Championships, whe won the team and all-around gold medals. Larson is the daughter of Eric and Gail Larson, and she has an older sister, Willie.
