Steven is a member of the Junior National Team in double mini, but he competes at the senior level in trampoline. He is the son of Steve and Loretta Gluckstein. He has one sister, Amanda, and a brother, Jeffrey, who is also on the national team. His role model is Tatiana Kovaleva. According to Gluckstein, "She is a world champion, who is experienced and understanding."
